A privilege to be a Photographer

I love my job. I love being a photographer! I love the people I get to meet and I love capturing their smiles. That being said, this session was a bit different because it wasn’t just anybody that I was photographing, it was all 6 of the stake presidents of the Ann Arbor Michigan Stake of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints since it’s beginning on August 14, 1977 (A Stake is an organization that includes several congregations in a specified area. In this case there are 9 congregations that extend from Adrian to Ypsilanti on up to Fowlerville & part of South Lyon). Because I am a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and attend a congregation within the Ann Arbor Stake, this session had great meaning to me personally and I truly found it a privilege to be a photographer that day. I love these men. They are inspired and have been my teachers over the years and have led me to try harder to follow my Savior Jesus Christ and to become a better person. What a wonderfully special day it was for me that day, not only to take their pictures but also to spend a little time with these great men.
