Because some people have asked that we extend the dates of our porch picture campaign, we will continue on an appointment basis for the time being. We are pleased to announce that we reached our goal to raise $1000.00 but would love the opportunity to raise more. These are pictures of all who have been quarantined together on your home porch or if you want to make it about an event like a 2020 Graduate we can make the 2 poses about that. Two poses per household. Our state is still under a stay home stay safe order till June 12th so please do not encourage other family members quarantining elsewhere to come and join you. What will my Porch Picture Session include?
Cost per household $40 ($25 of that will go to Gleaners).
We will take several pictures of 2 poses of all who have been quarantined together on their home porch from a distance (total time about 15 min. for both), one nice family pose/senior pose in cap and gown, etc… and one fun quarantine pose where the family/senior has made their own #hashtag signs or not. Some people just want to do something silly for the second pose. Some just want another nice pose. People that want to can make hashtag signs with brown paper bags, paper, poster board etc… and can use whatever other props they want to include to represent their time in quarantine together (there will not be time to change clothes for the second pose) Here are ideas from some of our recent porch pictures. We will choose the best picture from each pose and the customer will receive the following:
One picture from each pose will be placed in a printable “Quarantine 2020” 5×7 collage. The customer will receive a digital image of the collage that contains both pictures, sized perfectly to produce a 5×7 print of the collage with a copyright release allowing unlimited print and web use. The customer will also receive a digital app containing the collage that can be downloaded and saved on their phone or mobile device to access anytime at the touch of an icon, and which also allows them to easily share the collage containing the 2 pictures via email and on their social media sites. Anyone that wants larger retouched portraits of the individual pictures within the collage will also be able to get those at our normal prices which start at $20 for a 5×7 and $35 for an 8×10 (interested customers can request a complete price list), and 20% of the proceeds from any enlarged retouched portraits will also go to Gleaners as well.
This fund drive will take place primarily in the eastern Livingston County area (Brighton, Hamburg, Hartland, Whitmore Lake, South Lyon, Howell and Pinckney will be considered part of that area), If you want to set up a special date for a group of people in your area outside of eastern Livingston County please give us a call at 810-220-3464.
You can help this fund drive to grow and there will be NO travel fee outside of the eastern Livingston County area if you get a group of local friends & neighbors to sign up to be photographed near the same time. Talk to nearby friends and neighbors and collaborate a date and time of day together so ALL can forgo the travel fee. We can even put together a digital flyer for your chosen date that you can print and distribute around your neighborhood or send to friends and neighbors via email.
