Wonderful Event in Saline Michigan

What a pleasure it was to provide photography for this wonderful event in Saline Michigan. It was called “Seeking the Sacred: A Journey to the Tabernacle of Moses” and was held at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints located on Woodland Drive in Saline. It was so uplifting and brought many different religions in the community together. It included a life sized replica of the Tabernacle of Moses, a wonderful interfaith event filled with uplifting words from 3 different religious perspectives (Christian, Jewish & Muslim) as well as wonderful music that allowed the spirit to freely touch all who attended. It also included beautiful original artwork and displays that lifted all who visited and even included a youth conference. Here is the link to the news article from the Saline Post on the interfaith event, “Interfaith Event Celebrates Sacred Spaces”. Here are just a few of the pictures that we took while there. To see more pictures from the event check out our video. Countless people put in a great deal of time and effort to make this event possible. It truly was a memorable weekend for all who participated. The tabernacle will be moving to Brigham Young University in Provo Utah and will be on display there for 5 weeks including during education week, along with the beautiful “Israels Camp” mural that was designed here in Michigan by Jerome Quenneville and painted by himself and several others, to be a permanent addition to the tabernacle display.
