Our 2023 year actually started last month in Arizona doing portrait photography with these darling kids. Their grandma and grandpa have 12×12 portraits of each of their children’s kids on the wall going up the stairway to the second floor of their home. The home is open concept so the pictures can easily be seen from the first floor below. The grandparents wanted all of the finished pictures to be a light sepia tone and they wanted the session to be done in their back yard so the kids could easily be kept busy while the other children were getting their photo’s taken.
The date and time were set based on when all of the family was going to be together. Unfortunately we ended up with a full day of rain and since the whole family was only going to all be available that day we were unable to reschedule the session. Instead we took all the pictures on the covered back patio while the rain poured down behind them. We used whatever patio furniture the kids wanted to sit on to keep them happy and get the best smiles for their pictures and these were the finals.
